The TE101 Staff/Family are here to serve you. With our 1 guide /1 group philosophy our guest experience is among the best in our industry.

In the last 8 years we have had the honor of employing some of the most amazing people we have ever met. For those of you who have moved on, thank you. For those of you that remain, we are so honored to welcome you to our family! (and those of you who missed the photo op... We missed you!) We build strong teams and these people prove that starts at home.

Our Owner/ Creator: Jennifer Fonfara (& hubby Justin)

Tactical Escape 101 is a locally owned, operated & designed escape room brand created by Jennifer Fonfara & her family in hopes to bring quality entertainment to Wisconsin where she lives. During a vacation to see her NAVY sailors pictured below Justin (her husband) suggested getting locked in a room and trying to escape. (Jen was not amused) After the experienced though she admitted she'd fallen in love with it. The escape atmosphere seemed a perfect compliment to Jen’s MBA in Human Resources & with both she and husband Justin coming from a hospitality background reviews prove that the choice was right!

After 6 years of working behind the scenes Justin has found himself called to his new venture, "Mr Fun's Candy Shop!" He's found much joy in his new venture in the Cedar Mall, has become the Marriott of Rice Lake (2022) and has big plans for the future. This leaves Jen and her team to continue to grow the Tactical Escape 101 brand after closing two locations in 2019 & 20 and opening Maplewood in November of 2019.

As a multi member military family we had to photoshop one in, but that is just our life. We miss them while they are gone and Love them every day! The little guy in the middle is Bob (shark) Jennifer's older step brother.

We've added two grandbabies since this photo was taken but with the military kids away for their careers it's hard to get everyone together for an updated one!

(Our next photo will be without our Bob. He gained his heavenly wings in 2020. Thank you for the outpouring of cards and well wishes. We were very touched by those of you who had the pleasure of meeting, "noisy Bob." ♥️)

"Grandma" no sweeter word was ever spoken.

Now that we are 8 years old Jen tries hard to take Tuesdays to be Grandma. Sometimes that Grandma has to go to work with them all! Haha!

CANCELLATION POLICY

NO REFUNDS- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

We will be happy to reschedule your reservation up to 2 times. Please let us know as soon as possible.

No Call, No Show appointments, calls within 2 hours and those that show after their scheduled start time will forfeit 100% of all charges, certificates and discounts.

RESPECT, ILLNESS and RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:

We hold the right to refuse service to any customer that is disrespectful, intoxicated or ill. In these cases, no refund will be given. All damage to property will be charged to the credit card on file. We know that accidents happen, but unreasonable negligence will not be tolerated and will result in charges to cover the replacement of items lost.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears ill. We will do our best to reschedule you but any guest appearing ill or overly intoxicated will be asked to leave immediately. Arrangements will have to be made at a later time via phone or email and a rescheduling fee may apply.

Our employee’s health is very important to us. All members of the TE101 family are to be treated with utmost respect.

AGE: Our minimum age to play with a group is 5. All players must be listed on the reservation regardless of age though only ages 5+ count as paid players. We ask thatyoung children be kept in a stroller or body pack at all times. Please know that Tactical Escape 101 employees may not be used for childcare and all younger players must be supervised in the adventure by an adult at all times.
